Biography
Ian is a graduate of Doreen Bird College of Performing Arts London, where he was awarded a prestigious 3-year scholarship.
Since graduating he has worked internationally for over 25 years in Film, TV and Theatre. Firstly as a choreographer and movement director and now also as an Intimacy Coordinator/ Director.
Ian has had the privilege to study under world-renowned intimacy Coordinator Ita O’Brian (Intimacy On set) and Ian is delighted to have her as a continued mentor.

Ian was appointed choreographer for the 2014 Commonwealth Games mascot press launch, at BBC Scotland. Owing to the success of this, Ian went on to choreograph and direct over 20 projects during the lead up to the games.
Some of the high profile work includes Scottish Educational Tours with Susan Egelstaff, Clyde and Friends Christmas pantomimes, an arena performance to an audience of 20,000, multiple national and international TV press launches as well as a performance with Tom Daley and a private performance for Prince William and Kate Middleton. This array of choreographic events found Ian working alongside many other Commonwealth and Olympic athletes such as Sir Chris Hoy, Michael Jamieson and Rebecca Adlington to name a few.
